Fay's Multi Layer Cascade Technique
You will need an appropriate cone 04 bisque
piece and the following products:
* AG7069 - Gare Ginger Matte Antique
Glaze PC602 - Mayco White
Cascade EL207 - Mayco Gold Mine
Chunkies
* Consider changing this to S2201 Mayco's Ivory Satin
Matte, and change the White Cascade to Amber Cascade. OR try your own
combination of colors! |

Fay's Multi Layer Cascade Technique #7 shown on a ruffled
flare vase |
Cover vase with 3 flowing coats of Ginger Matte
glaze, inside and out. Allow the glaze to dry between coats.
Cover most
of vase with 2 coats of White Cascade, graduating the bottom line of paint in a
pleasing manner (see white area in photo). Allow the glaze to dry between
coats.
Cover most of the White Cascade with 3 coats Gold Mine Chunkies
glaze, not covering all the white, but following the uneven line and stopping
about an inch above. See photo for the look of the piece.
