 Technique #15
|
In the greenware stage we added 3 Lotus Blossom
add-ons to a fat little vase. Didn't quite get them even, though! After firing
to bisque ~
1.Wipe dust off of bisque using a damp sponge. 2. Add a
small amount of water to Sea Spray and pour into vase. Roll to completely coat
inside of vase, turn upside down to drain excess glaze. When dry, use your
favorite glaze brush to apply 3 coats of Sea Spray glaze to the entire outside
of the vase, allowing the glaze to dry between coats. 3. Apply one heavy
coat of White Cascade over the top half of the vase, including the add-ons.
Allow to dry. 4. Apply one coat of Sea Spray over the entire vase. 5.
Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
