 Spiral Art Glazed Vase Technique
#1
We haven't done a new picture of this
technique - yet - but, we hope to have one soon. So, these colors may
not be exactly the same since the bottom color in the picture has been
discontinued and we are suggesting a replacement shade. |
1.Wipe bisque dust off using a damp sponge. 2.
Pour clear glaze inside vase and roll to coat. Turn vase upside down and allow
excess glaze to drain. 3. Using a damp sponge, wipe glaze from rim and clean
off any that got on the outside. 4. Use a soft pencil to draw the first
line dividing the vase into sections. We did ours on an angle for more
interest. 5. Apply 3 coats of Roasted Pepper to the upper portion of the
vase. 6. Apply 3 coats of Desert Pine on middle portion. 7. Apply 3 coats
of Sand to the lower portion and bottom of vase. 8. Allow all glazes to dry
thoroughly. Still and fire to cone 06.
We think this technique would be great using other color
combinations. Come up with your own combinations, or consider these:
