Atlanta Handbuilding Conference

The Potter's Council has announced a Handbuilding Conference in Altanta. Here is what the email said:
The HANDBUILDING conference will bring together a diverse group of ceramic artists to demonstrate, share and answer any questions you have. Each presentation will involve all steps of the process, from the type of clay, to forming, finishing and firing. This conference will help you build upon your existing skills and learn new techniques that will take your work to the next level.

Duncan News

Duncan has announced the addition of 6 new Concepts colors!

CN508 - Chutney Spice, CN509 - Paprika Red, CN510 Earthen Moss, CN511 - Sunflower Yellow, CN512 - Green Apple and CN513 - Deep Berry. These colors will be available in the next two weeks.

Mayco News

Mayco has done a major rearranging of their color lines. Series 2000 glazes have either been moved over to the Foundations family or they are discontinued. Check the Series 2000 page to see if your favorite colors have been affected.

In addition, they have discontinued SG102 Chalkboard Green, SG301 Glitter Glaze and SG303 Confetti Glaze. We still have limited quantities of these products, but when they are gone that will be it. So, if you are planning a project with one of these glazes you'd better stock up now before they are all gone.

Also, ten new Foundations colors will soon be available as well as nine new Stamps (no pictures yet) and one gorgeous new JungleGems color.

All these new colors should be available in the nest few weeks. Watch our website to see when they are added.

Announcement

Due to the rising cost of gold, there will no longer be any discount on the OG Gold Lusters. If you purchase a variety of glazes, including gold, and you qualify for a discount, you will receive the discount only on the total dollar amount of the glazes, not the gold. At present, our shopping cart gives the discount on the total dollar amount. Until we can get this fixed, we will recalculate your discount so that the total of your order will only include the discount on glazes, not gold lusters. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
