Filling Tiny Molds

You know the old saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks"? Well, 'taint so!!! I have been doing ceramics as a hobby for 61 years now, and the other day, I happened upon something that made me say, "Why didn't I think of that a long time ago?" The molds that have the tiny holes - and are always such a pain to pour - well, I discovered my "Beano Mustard" squeeze bottle was the perfect size, easy to handle, has a nice spout, and a lid to cover it with! Now, they may make something similar, or someone may have used another type of squeeze bottle, and if so," Why didn't somebody tell me about it???" If you haven't found something that works as well or better - hope this helps!

Gorgeous Glaze

1. This month's gorgeous glaze you should know about is S2708 Oriental Carmel. This is one of the most beautiful and versatile glazes around! Turns out great on smooth items or detailed pieces, can be used on pumpkins, leaves, vases, etc. Wonderful color and intensity!.

Mayco Stamps Update

Mayco has released a new set of mini-stamps which come complete with a holder. Each stamp is just 1.5 inches square and designs include several flowers, a fish, tree, shell, snowflake and more. We will let you know when we have this new set in stock. Sorry, no pricing info or pictures yet.

The new Mayco Designer stamps are now in stock. The first batches we received flew out of here so fast that they were almost gone before they arrived! But, finally, we have them all in stock and ready to ship. The new designs are wonderful!
