Mayco has some wonderful new
Designer Stamps that can
be used in a variety of ways. Press them into damp clay to leave a design you
can paint later. Or, use a damp sponge to dab underglaze to the stamp's surface
and press onto bisque. When dry, add paint to the design to add color and
interest. Creative Glazes has some of these stamps in stock and will soon have
them all. Check them out today!
There is a new website devoted to clay puzzling. This site
describes the basics of how to do this clay puzzling, sells clay puzzling molds
and other supplies, has a gallery (not yet complete) and even a gift shop of
finished work. If you've always been fascinated by this fairly new technique
you really need to check out this site. Clay Puzzling
We found this really neat site with various tutorials for building
your own clay pieces. We recommend - Making Clay Stamps, Making a Draped Slab
(bowl), and Making a Box. This is good information if you've always wanted to
know how to do something with clay and just didn't know who to ask. For those
who have done this sort of thing before it is a good review and might give you
some inspiration for new designs. Check out all the links!
