Insider

Issue

Contents:
1. Envisions glazes
are non-toxic, come in a wide variety of colors and do not move, or move only
slightly. Be sure each coat you apply is smooth and even from the start so that
your special project will turn out as beautiful as you intend it to be!
2. Non-Fired Antiquing Gels
are marvelous for adding a bit of gold, silver or other metallic sparkle to
your Holiday ornaments and mementos.
3. Duncan recommends a viscosity
range of 18 to 24 seconds with CN2000D. Be sure to use a
Viscosity Cup to check your glaze
before dipping.
4. Use a white eraser to remove
Concepts that mistakenly went
'outside-the-lines' while painting. Wait until the paint is dry, then simply
erase the mistake. Brush the area clean with a soft cloth to remove all
leftover eraser bits before applying glaze.
5. Looking for Reds?
Besides Duncan Concepts
Underglazes for Bisque, we also have
Red-Coats, the new
CoverCoats and
EZ Strokes in bright,
brilliant red. Don't forget Mayco
Red Stroke n Coats and
Speckled Stroke n Coats and
Gare Red Fun Strokes. Then
there are wonderful Red glazes, too. Check out
Envisions Sunset Red, Ruby Red and
Strawberry, or Gloss Matador Red and
Christmas Red (not to be used with copper based glazes).
