A mascara brush makes an excellent tool for getting unwanted glaze out of holes, such as in beads, hanging plaques, clock centers, etc.

Underglaze Basics -

There seems to be an ongoing confusion about underglazes. Here is a very simple overview to try and clear this up.

CoverCoats (3 coats are opaque) and EZ Strokes Translucent Underglazes are best when applied to greenware. Fire to cone 04, then glaze and fire to cone 06.

Concepts are formulated to be applied to bisque which has been fired to cone 04. After painting your design, carefully apply 3 coats of clear glaze (or use dipping glaze) and fire to cone 06.
