Insider Tip ~ Proper Cleaning of Brushes
When you are finished painting,
wash your brushes thoroughly with warm water and Murphy's Oil Soap. Drop a
small amount of soap in the palm of your hand, rinse brush, then work the soap
into the bristles using a back and forth motion on your soapy palm. Rinse and
repeat. When brush is completely clean, rinse well, gently shape, and lay flat
to dry. Never stand your brushes on handle end until they are dry to prevent
water from collecting inside the metal collar and ruining the bristles and
handle.
