Crackles
These beautiful glazes are nontoxic and lead-free,
but not ALL are recommended for use on dinnerware due to their texture.
Crackles - Mix well and apply 2 coats to shelf cone 04 bisque. After
firing to cone 06, remove from kiln carefully. Do not handle with bare hands as
the oils from your hands can leave oils behind. Apply black acrylic paint over
crackle paint, then wipe off with soft cloth. This will make the crackles show
up. (Sometimes crackling continues for several days.)
